The G12M “Greenback”

Celestion Greenback Another jem in the crown in the Celestion speakers line is the G12M Celestion Speaker also known as the “Greenback”.

The re-issue features an aggressive mid range attack, a very present non-stiff tone. Works well in 4x12” cabs, or 1x12”. I tried mine in conjunction with the Celestion AlNiCo Blue in a open back horizontal (classic) style used with a Gabrièl V18 head and I have to say it has all it needs!

A wide spectrum of the synergy between these two Celestion speaker types adds the much coveted warmth, and organic character from the AlNiCo Blue and the punchiness and presence of the Greenback.
